Police have updated the community on the incident in Cherry Willingham, stating officers attended a concern for welfare call at a property early this morning, 12th July.
Authorities were alerted at 1.22am and remained at the scene until the situation was safely concluded.
No injuries were reported during the incident, which saw a substantial police presence in the vicinity.
A 39-year-old man was arrested in connection with the affair, charged on suspicion of threats to kill, assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH), and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
He is currently in police custody.
Police acknowledge that the large presence may have created unease for local residents and express gratitude to the community for their cooperation and patience.
The adherence to officers' instructions by residents played a crucial role in achieving a safe resolution to the situation.
