Suspects identified in swift operation involving two vehicles
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of theft in connection with a suspected stolen caravan recovery, police confirmed.
Officers received a call at 3.15pm on Monday reporting the theft of a caravan in Sibsey, later locating it through their efforts.
A swift operation identified two vehicles believed to be travelling on cloned plates, leading to the arrest of three men: a 40-year-old Essex man found in a Land Rover Discovery in Orby, and two men in a Citroen in Partney, a 58-year-old from Durham and a 43-year-old from London.
The Essex man was also arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
All three suspects are currently in police custody.
Police are urging anyone who saw the vehicles before they were stopped or who has any information that could aid the investigation to call 101 quoting Incident 203 of 5th October.
