The impact of yesterday's flooding is still being felt across Lincolnshire and Newark.

Yesterday many parts of the area were affected.

Pupils had to be rescued from a school at Edenham near Bourne as flood waters rose.

There was also a 17 year old who was stranded in flood water in Grimsby.

Emergency services were able to lead him to safety after he got into difficulties on St Nicholas Drive. .

We've been in the Bourne and Billingborough areas this morning hearing from people impacted.

Tracey from Billingborough told us what happened to her:

"It was beginning to come in the house - we and my son Monty started to put towels down."

"It was too late - it was already in."

"I said we've got to get out of here now."

"It was over the top of my wellies."

"Unfortunately I'm not covered for flooding - that's the most disappointing part."

"Obviously they'll be a lot to replace because of the damage."

"Hopefully we'll get by"
