Another heatwave is forecast across Lincolnshire from Thursday 10 July until Monday 14 July.

Temperatures are expected to reach 30 degrees in many areas, with a high heat health warning in place.

We've been speaking to the Met Office about what to expect and how to keep cool over the weekend.

"We'll be getting into the mid to high 20s, and then that's likely to last through the weekend as well, perhaps over 30 degrees then early next week," said Alex Deakin, meteorologist and weather forecaster for the Met Office.

"That's the big question mark about how long the heat lasts. It's certainly likely to last through the weekend, probably into Monday too, but it may well turn a little bit cooler as we head into the early part of next week."

"We've seen three heat waves now across the UK in well, a little under a month, and that is pretty unusual.

"Obviously, we have hot summers and we have cool summers, but with our changing climate, it's something we need to expect.

"We need to expect higher temperatures and more extremes of temperatures."

What about people working outside?

"The the UV levels are going to be high or very high through this week," said Alex.

"Make sure you've got the sunscreen on.

"If you are outside in the peak heat of the day between 11am and 3pm, when the sun's at its strongest, wear a cap and seek shade.

"Make sure you're staying hydrated and drink plenty of water."

And how should we keep cool inside?

"Draw your curtains during the days so the heat doesn't come in, " said Alex.

"Don't necessarily open your windows because often it's hotter outside than it is inside so if you open the windows during the day, you're just going to let the heat in.

"Try and adapt to the heat as much as possible, drinking plenty of fluids, staying out the sun as much as you can."
