Singer-songwriter Paul Heaton will headline Live at Lincoln Castle next summer, it has been announced.

He will perform on Wednesday 9th June 2027, joined by special guest singer Rianne Downey.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 6th November via lincolncastle.com and ticketmaster.co.uk.

About the show

The concert follows the release of Heaton's new album Jenius earlier this summer, which became his first solo Number 1.

The album arrived almost exactly 40 years after The Housemartins' debut album, London: 0 Hull: 4.

Jenius was produced by Lightning Seeds frontman Ian Broudie and features 15 new songs.

According to the promoters, the album spans rock 'n' roll, country, soul, ska, blues, Yacht Rock and Latin.

Heaton has spent more than four decades as a songwriter, with The Housemartins, The Beautiful South and as a solo artist.

He has had six Number 1 albums and sold more than 15 million albums.

His songs include Happy Hour, Caravan Of Love, Song For Whoever, A Little Time, Rotterdam (Or Anywhere), Perfect 10 and Don't Marry Her.

Special guest

Rianne Downey is a Scottish singer-songwriter who has been part of Heaton's live band since first joining him on tour in 2023.

She also featured on his last two albums, Jenius and The Mighty Several.
