Misconduct hearing for Lincolnshire police officer over inappropriate behaviour allegations
Officer allegedly engaged in unwanted conduct towards junior colleague
A misconduct hearing is set to take place next month concerning allegations against a Lincolnshire Police officer, known as Officer A.
Officer A is accused of breaching standards of professional behaviour, including authority, respect and courtesy, as well as discreditable conduct.
The allegations stem from an incident on 9th October 2024, during a social night out, where Officer A is said to have engaged in inappropriate behaviour towards Person A, involving unwanted sexual conduct directed at a junior female colleague.
The conduct, if proven, is considered to be gross misconduct.
The hearing aims to determine whether the officer's actions undermine public confidence in the police service.
The hearing will take place over two days from 2nd March.
