Four men charged after assaults at Brant Broughton care home
Charges relate to two attacks earlier this month
Four men have been charged following two assaults at a care home in Brant Broughton this month.
The incidents at Broughton House and College took place on 3rd August and 8th August.
Police have confirmed that the victim was a 28-year-old resident of the facility, who sustained injuries classed as non-serious.
Ibukun Abati-Sobulo, aged 40, from Riverside Drive, Lincoln, has been charged with one count of a care worker ill-treating or wilfully neglecting an individual for the assault on 3rd August. He also faces one count of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent for the attack on 8th August.
Samuel Adebayo, aged 33, from Maximus Road, North Hykeham has been charged with one count of a care worker ill-treating or wilfully neglecting an individual for his role in the assault on 8th August.
Inieridiong Jonah, aged 29, of Hamilton Road, Lincoln, faces two charges of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. These cover the assaults on both 3rd August and 8th August.
Adams Richard, aged 46, from Park Lane, Lincoln, has been charged with two counts of a care worker ill-treating or wilfully neglecting an individual. These charges also cover the incidents on both dates.
The four men appeared in Lincoln Magistrates Court on 12th August and have since been remanded into custody. Their next court appearance is scheduled for 9th September.
