Two men charged after alleged BB gun scare at Hull pub
Pair accused of assault and attempted robbery
Two 19-year-old men have been charged following a disturbance at a pub on Marfleet Lane in Hull.
The incident occurred on the evening of 5th March when police were alerted to reports of two men allegedly possessing a suspected BB gun.
Finlay Robert Ross Node, from Grange Brook Drive, Winsford, faces charges of assault and attempted robbery.
Ben Phillip Pattison, from Freehold Street, Hull, has been charged with assault, attempted robbery, and using threatening behaviour.
Both men have been remanded in custody and are set to appear at Hull Magistrates Court at a later, unspecified date.
The situation escalated when the two individuals reportedly entered the pub and engaged in a verbal dispute with staff.
During the altercation, one of the men allegedly revealed a suspected BB gun.
As they exited, it’s claimed they caused damage to a glass door.
A member of the public confronted the pair regarding the damage, leading to another altercation before they reportedly fled the scene.
Police responded swiftly and arrested the two men nearby.
