Man, 41, dies after car crashes into waterway in Frithville
Emergency services respond to tragic car incident
A 41-year-old man has died after his car crashed into a waterway in Frithville yesterday morning.
Emergency services were called to Westville Road at 9:45 AM on Thursday, 20th August following reports that a red Volkswagen ID4 had left the road while being driven towards Coningsby and entered the West Fen Drain.
The vehicle was recovered from the water, but the driver tragically died at the scene.
His family have been informed.
The authorities are urging anyone who was in the area before the crash and may have seen the vehicle or have dashcam footage to get in touch.
