Man charged with GBH after Skegness assault at petrol station
Police want to speak to two possible witnesses after a man was injured
A 36-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm following an alleged assault at the Asda petrol station on Roman Bank in Skegness.
The incident happened at about 1am on Saturday, 22nd November. A man was left with injuries to his lip and above his eye.
Lewis Wayne Ringrose, who is of no fixed address in the Sheffield area, was arrested on Saturday evening at Skegness Railway Station. He was refused bail and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 24th November.
Investigators are appealing for help to identify two people. Officers believe the individuals may have witnessed the incident and are keen to speak with them. They stress that neither person is in trouble but are asking them to come forward or anyone who knows them to contact police.
