Man charged with GBH with intent and drug offences in Skegness

It happened in the early hours of Sunday

A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A - cocaine and possession of a controlled drug of class B – cannabis.

Rennforde Fletcher, 53, of St Ann’s Hill, Nottingham City, Nottingham has been charged after a 21 year-old woman was punched, during an altercation outside of Buster’s Bar on Grand Parade in Skegness at around 1am on Sunday 9 August. The woman remains in hospital in a critical condition.

Fletcher has been remanded into custody pending a hearing at a later date.

Detectives are still looking to identify a number of witnesses who they believe may have information to help progress this investigation.
