Police are appealing for information following a collision in Louth involving a car and a pedestrian.

The incident is believed to have taken place at around 10am on Monday, 4 August.

A grey car reportedly collided with a woman in her 70s as she crossed the road from Market Place towards The Grapetree.

The woman sustained a fractured wrist as a result of the collision.

Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time, to come forward and assist with enquiries.
