Lincolnshire man dies in collision on the A14

Police are calling for witnesses to help with their enquiries

A man from Lincolnshire has died following a collision between a lorry and a car on the A14 at Godmanchester.

The crash happened at about 6.45am on 19th January on the eastbound carriageway.

Emergency services attended the scene, where the driver of a blue Scania lorry, a man in his 50s from Waddington, was pronounced dead.

The driver of the other vehicle, a red Suzuki SX4, is a man in his 30s. He was not injured and is helping police with their enquiries.

Police are asking for people to come forward with information about the collision or what happened beforehand.

Dashcam footage could also assist the investigation, officers said.
