If we keep losing land and farmers at the rate at which we are we won't be producing for ourselves -we'll be relying on importing from abroad
"It makes absolutely no sense to buy the cheapest, quickest option if they're making 25 million selling energy abroad."
"If we keep losing land and farmers at the rate at which we are we won't be producing for ourselves -we'll be relying on importing from abroad."
"Nobody's going to want to visit the countryside if it's just covered in solar panels."
"Green energy - we're all for it - in the right places."
"In the UK as a whole there'll be over a million acres of land lost to green energy."
"We're a small island - surrounded by the sea - it makes no sense to use the land the way that we are."
The Government has previously said it's vital to move towards more green energy to help reduce bills and fight climate change.
They've also indicated that high quality agricultural land shouldn't be used for projects like solar farms.
