Lincoln City FC have been fined by the FA following homophobic chanting during their EFL Cup match against Chelsea FC on 23rd September 2025.
The club has been sanctioned for breaching two FA rules as it 'failed to ensure that spectators and/or supporters conducted themselves in an orderly fashion'.
Crowds reportedly chanted homophobic insults directed towards Chelsea FC in the 29th minute of the game and at half-time.
The club admitted the charge and say they remain committed to eradicating negative behaviour.
