Large field fire prompts road closures in Boston

Emergency services are responding to a significant field fire on Waste Green Lane in Boston, prompting the closure of nearby roads for public safety.

The roads closed include the junction of Smeetons Lane and Marsh Lane, as well as the junction of Marsh Lane and the A16.

A 1km cordon is in place, restricting access to fire services only, and residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed to protect against smoke inhalation.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue are actively managing the incident, and members of the public are urged to avoid the area to ensure single lanes remain accessible for fire engines.
