Kaiser Chiefs are heading to Lincoln next summer for another headline show at Lincoln Castle.

The I Predict A Riot hitmakers will play Live at Lincoln Castle on Saturday 12th June 2027.

It marks a return to the venue, where they last headlined in 2024.

Tickets go on Friday.

The band's line-up is Ricky Wilson on vocals, Simon Rix on bass, Andrew 'Whitey' White on guitar, Nick 'Peanut' Baines on keyboards and Vijay Mistry on drums.

Formed in 2000, Kaiser Chiefs are known for anthemic hits including Oh My God, I Predict A Riot, Everyday I Love You Less and Less, Ruby, Never Miss A Beat and Hole In My Soul.

They have released eight studio albums, among them their Mercury-nominated debut Employment, which sold more than two million copies, its Number 1 follow-up Yours Truly, Angry Mob, which went twice-platinum in the UK, and Education Education Education and War, which also entered the UK Album Charts at Number 1.

The band have had top ten singles including the Number 1 hit Ruby, won three BRIT Awards and an Ivor Novello for Album of the Year, toured with U2, Foo Fighters and Green Day, and sold eight million albums.

The concert is being staged as part of an ongoing partnership between Lincolnshire County Council and Live Nation promoters Cuffe and Taylor to bring major acts to the venue.

Cuffe and Taylor promoter Mark Harrison said Kaiser Chiefs would be a strong addition to the 2027 line-up.

"Kaiser Chiefs are another great headline artist to add to our line up for 2027," he said.

"Their show here in 2024 was fantastic and I have no doubt their loyal fans and our wonderful audience will love to welcome them once again.

"This has the makings for a brilliant night here at Lincoln Castle."

Lincoln Castle manager Kimberley Vickers said the band had been "clearly wowed" by their previous visit.

"The Kaiser Chiefs were clearly wowed by Lincoln when they played here in 2024, and we're delighted to be welcoming them back next year," she said.

"Lincoln Castle provides a stunning, unique backdrop for live events, and it's always great to see artists wanting to return. We hope fans follow their lead, take time to explore our wonderful city, and discover why so many people who visit Lincoln find themselves coming back for more."
