A nurse has been left "shocked and shaken" after she was egged at Grimsby Hospital.
The nurse said she was walking to the main hospital building when two cyclists threw eggs at her.
A number of egging incidents have been reported over the past couple of weeks, a spokesperson for Grimsby Hospital said.
Staff have reportedly been coming back to their cars after shifts to find they've been pelted with eggs.
A police investigation has been launched and an increase in patrols in the area should be expected.
