15-year-old arrested in Grantham rape investigation

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a rape investigation in Grantham.
The inquiry commenced after police received a report on 14th June that a 17-year-old woman had been raped around 3am in the area between Earlesfield Lane and Thames Road.
The young woman is now in contact with officers, who are providing support through specially trained staff.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information that could assist their ongoing investigation.
Those who were in the vicinity between 12:30am and 3am, and either witnessed or heard anything unusual, are urged to come forward.
Additionally, residents with CCTV or other footage from nearby properties are encouraged to contact the authorities.
