Two motorbikes seized in Gainsborough following anti-social behaviour reports
Police thank public for assistance in identifying the vehicles
Police in Gainsborough have seized two motorbikes implicated in anti-social behaviour in the area.
Officers were alerted just before 9.30pm on Sunday, 21st June, regarding multiple motorbikes speeding around Lea Road.
Specialist Operations officers pursued the riders, leading to one motorbike—a white Yamaha XSR—being abandoned near Stow Park Road.
Police Response and Recovery
The second motorbike, a Yamaha MT-07, was discovered by a member of the public the following morning on Monday, 22nd June.
It has since been recovered and will be returned to the owner.
Community Beat Manager PC Connor Brandwood acknowledged the community's role in addressing the incidents.
“We know from reports and intelligence that these motorbikes have been involved in reports of ASB in the town over recent weeks, which led to proactive work in Armed Response Officers locating them," Brandwood stated.
“We’d like to thank the public for their help in reporting incidents of ASB to us."
The police continue to encourage residents to report any instances of anti-social behaviour, allowing them to respond effectively to community concerns.
