Gainsborough drug dealer jailed after police smash Lincoln supply operation
Martyn McCord ran a team of dealers and was at one point owed £28,000 in drug debts
A drug dealer who ran a team supplying cocaine, ketamine and cannabis across the Lincoln area has been jailed.
Martyn McCord, 24, of Heron Drive in Gainsborough, was sentenced to three years and three months behind bars.
He appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday 21st August 2026.
Linked to organised crime gang
The court heard McCord was linked to an organised crime gang supplying class A and B drugs in kilo amounts across the Lincoln area between June and October 2025.
A warrant was executed at an address on Swift Gardens on 1st July 2025.
A rucksack was seized containing £2,855 in cash, a lock knife, 18 grams of ketamine and 80 grams of cocaine.
McCord's fingerprints were found on the packaging of a blue sandwich bag that held just under 28 grams of cocaine.
Team of dealers uncovered
A second warrant was carried out on 10th October 2025 at McCord's home address, where several mobile phones were seized and downloaded.
Analysis of the phones showed McCord was involved in the supply of cocaine, ketamine and cannabis, and that he had multiple people working for him to deal drugs to customers.
He had a large customer base and was at times owed £28,000 in drug debts.
He also tried to arrange the purchase of multiple kilograms of ketamine from an upstream supplier.
The phones showed McCord regularly sent out messages advertising cocaine, ketamine and cannabis for sale.
Police response
The case was investigated by Lincolnshire Police's Serious and Organised Crime Unit.
Detective Sergeant Adam Petty, the officer in charge, said: "Removing offenders like this from our communities helps disrupt the availability of harmful drugs and prevents further damage to individuals, families and neighbourhoods. However, we remain relentless in our efforts to tackle organised crime, support vulnerable people and work alongside partner agencies to make our streets a safer place for everyone."
He said: "Anyone involved in drug supply should be under no illusion that we continue to use all available powers to identify offenders, bring them before the courts to keep the people of Lincolnshire safe."
