Man charged with arson in Gainsborough following Monday night fire
Charges follow a property fire on Salisbury Street
A man has been charged in connection with a fire at a house in Gainsborough.
The incident occurred on Salisbury Street just after 11pm on Monday, 2nd November.
Emergency services attended, but thankfully no injuries were reported.
Anthony Waring, aged 50, has been arrested and charged with arson with intent to endanger life and possession of a Class A drug.
Waring, who resides on Salisbury Street, is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court today, 5th November.
The authorities are treating the matter with seriousness due to the nature of the charges.
