A hearing ruled the officer would have been dismissed without notice had he not already resigned.
A former Lincolnshire Police officer has been found to have breached professional standards.
It happened at a social event on 6 July 2024.
A misconduct hearing was held between 9 and 12 December 2025 at Force Headquarters, Nettleham, for former Police Constable Jordan Wakefield who was based at Boston police station.
Former Police Constable Wakefield was found to have breached the following standards of professional behaviour:
Authority, Respect and Courtesy
Equality and Diversity
Discreditable Conduct
It was found that on 6 July 2024 the officer breached the standards of professional behaviour when at a social event attended by colleagues he behaved in an inappropriate and sexualised manner, he failed to treat colleagues with respect or courtesy and used harassing behaviour towards a colleague on the grounds of her sex.
The former officer resigned from the Force in October 2025.
The chair of the hearing found the breaches proven and that they amounted to gross misconduct.
The outcome of the hearing was that former Police Constable Jordan Wakefield would have been dismissed without notice had he not already resigned.
