An elderly woman has been seriously hurt after being struck by a vehicle in a car park in Boston.

Lincolnshire Police were called at 3.27pm on Saturday 28 March to the Co-op car park in Woodville Road.

The driver of a red Ford Fiesta is alleged to have not stopped at the scene.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of falling to stop at the scene of a collision and dangerous driving.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses, dash cam or other recorded footage of the incident or moments leading up to the alleged incident.

The force says people with information can call 101, quoting reference 299 of 28 March, email the officer in charge, PC Christopher Hearn, on [email protected], or anonymously, via Crimestoppers.
