Man charged following suspected stabbing in Sturton

A 31-year-old man has been charged with three offences following a suspected stabbing in Sturton-by-Stow.

Emergency services were called to a property in Queensway on Saturday afternoon (20th December).

A man in his 30s was found with what's believed to be a stab wound and was taken to hospital.

A knife was recovered at the scene.

Daniel Stallard Kane, of Queensway, Sturton-by-Stow has now been charged in connection with the incident.

He's been charged with three offences:

  • Section 18 wounding with intent
  • Possession of an offensive weapon in a private place
  • Possession of a knife/blade/pointed article in a public place

He was refused bail and is set to appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court this morning (22nd December).
