Cyclist in his 40s dies after collision on A1 near Foston

Investigators appeal for dash cam footage and witnesses

A man in his 40s has died following a collision on the A1 northbound carriageway at Foston in the early hours of Friday 23rd January.

Police were called to the incident, which involved a cyclist, at approximately 12.50am. Investigators believe the man may have been struck by two separate vehicles.

The cyclist sadly died at the scene due to his injuries.

Specialist officers are supporting his family at this challenging time, and the force has expressed its condolences to his loved ones.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage from the area around the time of the incident.
