Lincoln cocaine warning after five overdoses in one day

Lincolnshire police are warning about a potentially "contaminated or unusually potent batch" of crack cocaine in Lincoln.

Officers say they received reports of five suspected overdoses yesterday morning (11th December).

They said those who took the drugs had symptoms of aggression when regaining consciousness, chest pains and seizures.

Lincolnshire police have now issued an alert to the community, and are urging users to seek immediate help if they see symptoms like this, and avoid use.

Anyone who knows anyone using drugs is also being urged to call the emergency services if they notice the user is unwell.
