Two boys, 14 and 16, charged after bicycle thefts in Cleethorpes

They were charged with multiple offences

Two boys have been charged after a number of bicycles were reported stolen in one evening in Cleethorpes.

Officers received reports on Saturday (17th January) that multiple pedal bikes were stolen in the areas of St Peter’s Avenue and Kings Road.

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with:

  • robbery
  • theft of a pedal cycle
  • theft
  • and assault of an emergency worker after an incident whilst he was in custody

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with:

  • robbery
  • theft of pedal cycle
  • possession of a class B drug
  • and possession of a class C drug

Both boys have been remanded into custody to appear at court at a later date.
