Cambridge Road in Grimsby set for two-week closure in August

Utility works linked to new development prompt the temporary closure

Author: Charlotte BarberPublished 5 hours ago

A 270-metre stretch of Cambridge Road in Grimsby will be closed to all vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians in August due to utility works.

The closure, set from 3rd to 14th August, is connected to the Keepmoat Cambridge Green development at the former Western School site.

This section of Cambridge Road is near the Little Coates Road roundabout.

Diversion Route

A full diversion route will be provided, directing traffic via Little Coates Road, Yarborough Road, and Cromwell Road to circumvent the closure.

Motorists and pedestrians are advised to plan accordingly and follow the signposted routes during the closure.

These utility works are deemed essential for supporting the adjacent development, aimed at enhancing the local infrastructure.
