Police seek information following assault of cyclist in Bourne
Appeal issued to identify potential witness or suspect
Lincolnshire Police are appealing for public assistance in an investigation regarding an assault on a cyclist in Bourne, which resulted in a broken arm.
The incident occurred between 6.30pm and 7pm on Wednesday, 5th August, when three individuals reportedly shouted obscenities at a man riding his bicycle on Osprey Close.
When the cyclist stopped to address the behaviour, he was allegedly pushed backward, causing his fall and subsequent injury.
Officers are following multiple lines of inquiry and are aiming to identify a man who may have crucial information for their investigation.
This individual is described as having short, mid-brown receding hair, and he was wearing a light blue t-shirt, black shorts, and black trainers at the time.
He is believed to have been accompanied by two teenage boys during the incident.
Police ask anyone who recalls seeing this person, or has captured footage on doorbell, dashcam, or CCTV, to contact them.
