Lincolnshire Police have confirmed they have made two arrests and taken custody of a dog, after a video emerged on social media of the animal being abused.

The arrests were made in Bracebridge Heath near Lincoln.

The dog which is believed to have been harmed is being checked over by vets and will be cared for in police kennels.

Reports also included information that there was disorder at the address in Bracebridge, and officers were dispatched.

The people in custody will be questioned by officers in due course.
