Appeal after Boston assault
It happened yesterday
Police are appealing for information and any witnesses, after reports of an assault on West Street, Boston, yesterday (Sunday 2 August 2026).
Officers were called to West Street shortly before 8.40am .
They believe the disturbance may have started in the Stanley Hotel and then spilled out onto West Street.
As part of their investigation, they're asking for information and for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant information, to come forward.
They want to speak to anyone who was on West Street at the time, or in the Stanley Hotel and heard or saw anything they believe may be connected.
One man, aged 38, has been arrested on suspicion of assault and released on bail.
