Lincolnshire is advancing to the forefront of agricultural technology with the development of cutting-edge machines like the Earth Rover. It's a driverless vehicle set to transform farming. By leveraging AI and new technology, these innovations aim to make farming machinery more sustainable and effective.

James Brown, founder of Earth Rover, explainshow this technology promises significant growth and improvement for the county's agriculture, marking an essential step forward in sustainability and efficiency.

James explained the technology used in the machine. He said: "When the machine finds a weed on the field, which it uses AI to do, it fires a pulse of light to kill them so you don't have to spray herbicides out on the crop.

"At the same time it measures every single crop to tell you how it's growing".

Advanced technology, like the ones used in the Earth Rover, are said to be transforming the future of farming across the county.

James said: "The future of farming is productivity, and this is the sort of technology that can do that.

"We've had the Earth Rover of farms this summer and farmers can already see the benefit that their crop grows better and they're not having to use chemicals".
