Woman found dead in Huyton this morning is named

The body of 43 year old Lorraine Cullen was discovered in a house on Radway Road

Merseyside Police have confirmed that a woman who died following an incident in Huyton this morning, Wednesday 11 May, has been named as 43-year-old Lorraine Cullen.

Ms Cullen’s body was found in a property on Radway Road at around 8.30am. Paramedics attended and she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.

A 21-year-old man, who was known to her, was arrested on York Road, on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody for questioning.

A post mortem will be carried out to confirm the cause of death.

Officers remain on scenes at Radway Road and York Road today while extensive CCTV, forensic and house-to-house enquiries are carried out.
