Woman dies after "concern for welfare" call on M6 in Lancashire

A woman has died after police received a "concern for welfare" call on the M6 in Lancashire.
Officers rushed to the carriageway near Preston on Saturday night, where the body of a woman in her 70s was found.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
It happened between junctions 31 and 32 at around 9:45pm, with police saying their thoughts are with the pensioners loved-ones.
There aren't thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
