Woman arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder in Leigh

A woman’s been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder following a violent incident in Leigh.
Police say a man was attacked while sitting in his car at the junction of Eva Street and Ena Crescent at around 10:30pm on Friday 27 June.
A black Volvo is believed to have driven at him, before four people got out and allegedly assaulted him through the car window using weapons.
The victim was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
Officers carried out early morning raids in the Westleigh area today (3 July), where a woman in her 20s was arrested.
She remains in police custody.
Detectives are urging anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
