Two teenagers arrested after knifepoint robberies in Preston and Chorley

Robberies took place at four shops across two towns earlier this month

Two teenagers have been arrested after a series of knifepoint robberies at shops in Preston and Chorley earlier this month.

The first robbery occurred at Premier Stores on Avenham Lane, Preston, at around 7.30pm on Monday 10th November.

Two days later on Wednesday 12th November at around 7.55pm, officers responded to an attempted robbery at Vanikas store on Langton Street in Preston.

The following evening, on Thursday 13th November, two robberies were reported in quick succession in Chorley. The first happened at Go Local in Brindle Street, followed by another at the Convenience Store on Pall Mall, both around 7pm.

Lancashire Police have confirmed that two men, aged 18 and 19, have since been arrested on suspicion of robbery and remain in custody.
