Two hospitalised after fire in Blackburn
The blaze started in the kitchen of the property
Two people have been taken to hospital following a kitchen fire at a home on The Crescent, Blackburn.
The incident was attended by two fire engines from Blackburn at 18:10 last night.
Firefighters used one hose reel and two sets of breathing apparatus to extinguish the flames.
Two people, suffering smoke inhalation, were treated by North West Ambulance Service and transported to hospital for further care.
Crews were on the scene for one hour.
