Family pays tribute to 18-year-old after fatal Haslingden crash
Teen remembered as 'friend to all' following tragic collision
The family of Victoria Niebylska, an 18-year-old who died following a collision in Haslingden, has paid tribute to her, expressing the profound love and impact she had on those around her.
Victoria was a passenger in a VW Golf that collided with the side of a house and retaining wall on Helmshore Road late Monday night.
Tragically, she passed away in hospital the following day.
Her family described her as "a friend to all," with her love and joy deeply cherished.
Victoria's family said, "Eighteen years could never hold all the love you brought into this world. You were my one and only, my greatest joy, my whole heart."
The statement, filled with emotions, reflects their enduring connection to her memory.
The collision that claimed Victoria’s life also resulted in the death of the car's driver, a man in his 20s, who was pronounced deceased in hospital on Tuesday morning.
Another passenger in the vehicle, an 18-year-old girl, sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital.
Emergency services responded to the incident at 11.49pm on Monday, 4th May, at the junction of Helmshore Road and Dean Road.
