Road closure after serious motorcycle collision in Trawden

Motorcyclist in his 60s hospitalised after Two Laws Road accident

Colne and West Craven Police are seeking information after a collision on Two Laws Road in Trawden left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

Emergency services responded to the scene at 10.55am on Sunday, 9th August.

The incident occurred when a Hyundai Ioniq, travelling towards Lancashire from Yorkshire, attempted to overtake a Vauxhall van simultaneously as a KTM Superduke motorbike, resulting in a collision between the Hyundai and the motorbike.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or possesses footage of the event to come forward.
