Three deny murder over St Helens house fire which killed elderly couple
They are due to go on trial in January
Three people have pleaded not guilty to murdering an elderly couple who died following a fire at their home in St Helens.
Kylie Maynard, 37, of Rydal Street in Everton, 46-year-old Lee Owens, of no fixed address, and Kevin Weetman, 34, of Croxteth Drive in Aigburth, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday 15th December.
They are accused of killing Eric Greener, 77, and Sheila Jackson, 83, who were seriously injured in a fire at a house on South John Street on Tuesday 15th July.
Both were taken to hospital but died from their injuries.
The three defendants have been remanded in custody ahead of a trial in January
