Six arrested for drugs supply in Skelmersdale and West Lancashire

Lancashire Constabulary has arrested six people, as part of an investigation to the supply of Class A drugs in the Skelmersdale and West Lancashire area.

Warrants were carried by officers this morning (August 11th), at two addresses in Up Holland and an address in Billinge, near Wigan.

Two women, aged 34 and 26, from Billinge, two women aged 38 and 47 and a man aged 40, all from Up Holland and a 28 year-old woman from Wigan, were all arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.

They are all currently in custody.

Operation Warrior is Lancashire Police’s response to tackling serious and organised crime in Lancashire, supported by Police and Crime Commissioner, Clive Grunshaw.

It aims to target the individuals and gangs involved in crime, as well as associated issues such as violence and intimidation, large scale drug supply, exploitation and fraud, all of which can cause serious harm to local communities.
