Fire crews respond to semi-detached house fire in Lancashire

Five fire engines attended a fire in Burscough, Lancashire in the early hours of yesterday morning (22nd December).

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service say they received a call at 00:59 that a building was on fire on Manor Avenue.

When firefighters arrived, the fire had spread to a second property.

The houses were semi-detached.

Firefighters from Lancashire and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue extinguished the fire.

Fire crews remained on the scene for some time after.
