Scott Parker has left his role as Head Coach at Burnley Football Club, with both Parker and the Board agreeing on his departure by mutual consent.

This decision follows the confirmation of Burnley's relegation from the Premier League last week.

During his time at Turf Moor, Parker played a key role in Burnley's remarkable 2024/25 season.

Under his leadership, the Clarets achieved promotion from the Championship to the Premier League, maintaining a record 31-match unbeaten run and securing 30 clean sheets.

Interim Arrangements

The Club expressed its gratitude to Parker for his professionalism and contribution.

He leaves Burnley with respect and appreciation from all those connected to the club.

Mike Jackson, alongside the existing backroom team, will take interim charge for the Clarets' final four Premier League fixtures, starting with Friday's match away to Leeds United.

Recruitment Process

The search for a new permanent Head Coach is underway, with the aim to appoint ahead of the 2026/27 season.
