Two men seriously injured in scooter crash in Oswaldtwistle

Two men have been seriously injured after a collision in Oswaldtwistle.

The pair - who are the rider in his 40s and his passenger in his 20s - fell from a motor scooter on Union Road at around 5.45pm on Easter Monday.

Police are appealing for information about what happened in the crash which happened close to the Heron Food store.

Sergeant Mark Park from Lancashire's Road Policing Unit said, "This collision has left two people with significant injuries, and I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened or who has any footage such as CCTV, dashcam or ring doorbell, to get in touch."
