Police seek information following serious collision in Ribbleton

Authorities are asking for witnesses and footage after a serious collision in Ribbleton on 30th August.

The crash, reported at 9.20pm, involved a Sur-Ron EV motorcycle and a Vauxhall Corsa at the junction of Longridge Road and Chatburn Road.

The motorcycle rider, a 19-year-old local man, was taken to hospital with severe head injuries.

The car's driver and passenger sustained minor injuries.

Police are actively working to understand the circumstances leading up to the incident and urge anyone with relevant dashcam, doorbell, CCTV, or mobile phone footage to contact them.

Sergeant Chris Hardacre from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit emphasised the urgency of gathering information to determine the sequence of events.
