Preston North End FC appalled as they report racist comments

Preston North End FC has reported racist comments directed at one of their players.

The club says defender Thierry Small has been subject to racist abuse on social media after their game against QPR at Deepdale on Monday (6 April).

The club has taken to social media to release a statement, in which they say the comments have been reported to Lancashire Police.

The club says "If and when the individual responsible is identified, they will be banned from Deepdale for life".
