Police in Lancashire are appealing for information after a teenager was left with serious injuries after a collision in Leyland.
Emergency services were called at about 7.30pm on Tuesday 8th July after an e-bike being ridden along Moss Lane collided with a 14-year-old pedestrian.
The initial assessment from the ambulance service was that the injuries were not serious, however she is now believed to have more significant injuries and is in hospital receiving treatment.
The e-bike has been seized for examination and the rider has been reported for a number of driving offences.
Sergeant Stu Hart from the Roads Policing Unit, said: “This collision has left a teenage girl with some serious injuries, and I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened or who has any footage such as dashcam, CCTV, Ring doorbell or mobile phone footage to get in touch."
