National League set to meet Monday to discuss Morecambe future

The National League has released a statement saying it continues to have serious concerns about Morecambe Football Club and it's compliance with the rules.

It says it met with current owner Jason Whittingham this week to talk about the clubs financial obligations which must be met by Monday lunchtime

A sale of the club has still not been completed - with fears about the future growing by the day.

In less than two weeks time the side are set to face Boston United in the opening fixture.
