Morecambe FC faces winding up petition over legacy debt
Club aims to resolve dispute with supplier after petition filed
Morecambe Football Club is dealing with the aftermath of a winding up petition filed by a supplier, KPM Groundworks Limited, over a legacy debt.
The petition, linked to a debt incurred prior to the club's takeover by Panjab Warriors in August, was filed seven days before the club was notified.
The club confirmed awareness of the petition and has since engaged in discussions with both KPM Groundworks Limited and legal advisers to resolve the situation.
Morecambe FC is working towards withdrawing the petition as soon as possible and plans to update its supporters once further developments occur.
